Climbing Apparel Made for Real Climbers

Every garment is developed at the RupeLab in Saronno by people who know crags firsthand – chalk on their hands, tension on a crux, the cold at the base. The climbing apparel you find here is the result of that direct knowledge: fabrics that move with you, not against you. Our team of Climbers, along with our Seamstresses, have created and tested a collection of climbing apparel.
Designed for the vertical world, to tackle the most impervious walls and the toughest training sessions, Rupe climbing apparel will accompany you in all situations.
Our garments are designed for those who love indoor sport climbing, for those looking for comfortable clothing to train in climbing gyms during the week, and for those looking for high-performance clothing for crags and bouldering.
We have personally tested hoodies, climbing pants, and cotton t-shirts with our ambassadors. Every item has a sporty and comfortable fit, designed to adapt to every body type and every rock move.
Comfort and fabric durability are the two main qualities we sought and selected to make our garments suitable for the various styles you can experience in climbing: the Ande and Pirenei pants will amaze you with their resistance while you climb a trad pitch or an Off-Width crack, the cotton shirts with their sporty fit are perfect to be worn over a cotton t-shirt, while you rest your fingers from a bouldering session or while you belay your partner at a summer crag.
The bermuda shorts and climbing culottes are perfect for wearing in the summer, while you plan your next trip to Annot or Chulilla. What about our ladder-resistant technical leggings? Have you already tried them during your training sessions under the moonboard?
Rupe has great respect for the environment, and we wanted to reflect our values in our climbing apparel collection. All our garments are made with certified organic cotton, designed to last and accompany you on your outdoor adventures and at the end of your training sessions in indoor climbing gyms with your friends.
Our climbing hoodies and crewneck sweatshirts can be worn at any time, making your days perfect and unique.

Women's Climbing Apparel: Technique and Uncompromised Freedom of Movement

To climb well, a woman needs clothing that moves with her – in every direction. Rupe's sports tops, leggings, and women's tank topsare made with four-way stretch fabrics that don't sag after the first wash and don't lose their shape after the fifth session. The fit is designed for those who move – not for those who pose. The women's climbing apparel from the Rupe collection works at the crag, in the gym, and on the way home from the crag, without having to change your look at every stop.

Men's Climbing Apparel: From the Boulder to the City Without Stopping to Change

The urban climber doesn't have time for three different wardrobes. Rupe's men's climbing pants, tank tops, and cotton t-shirtsare designed for those who leave a bouldering session and head straight to a bar, an office, a train. The design is clean, not overstated. The fabrics breathe. The cut allows for movement without looking like pajamas. Men's climbing apparel that works vertically and horizontally – because the day doesn't end when you take off your climbing shoes.

Indoor Climbing Outfit: What to Wear at the Gym (and Why It Matters)

Indoor climbing has its own rules – even when it comes to clothing. You need total freedom of movement, sweat-wicking fabrics, and a fit that won't snag on holds or ropes. The right climbing outfit for the gym is different from what you'd wear at a crag: less wind protection, more focus on thermal regulation and joint mobility. Rupe crew-neck sweatshirtsare perfect for warming up, while technical tops and leggings will see you through your entire session. Indoor climbing apparel you won't even need to change out of for a post-climb meal.

Sport Climbing Apparel: Materials That Endure Where Others Fail

Sport climbing puts fabric under real stress: abrasion against rock, multidirectional pulling, temperature changes between shade and sun. Rupe's materials are selected to withstand all of this – and OEKO-TEX certified, because durability shouldn't mean loading your body or the environment with chemicals. Every item in the Rupe sport climbing line is tested on real rock, not just in the lab. The result is clothing that lasts seasons, not just for a season.

Handmade at RupeLab in Saronno – Every Stitch, Every Garment

Every piece of Rupe climbing apparel is hand-sewn at RupeLab, in Saronno, Italy. It's not a marketing story: it's why every seam holds, every detail is in the right place, and every garment has a precision that mass production cannot guarantee. Local production also means a short supply chain, direct quality control, and no surprises when you open the package. For those who are "outside on the inside" – and know the difference between a well-made garment and a quickly made one.
